visage was an amazingly original and groundbreaking new wave band in the late 1970s and early 1980s. they produced such hits as 'fade to grey', 'mind of a toy', 'tar' and 'pleasure boys'.
probably the most noticeable of the band was steve strange, in his unique makeup and costume.
